When you book The Buzzcatz you are supporting a locally grown business! Most of the catz are graduates of Orlando area high schools, and we have all carved our niche playing in and around Central Florida for decades. The guys you see here have been a band for 20 years, and have played a couple of thousand gigs together. You've also seen and heard them individually in Orlando's theme parks, night clubs, conventions, on countless TV & radio ads, and singing the national anthem at local sporting events. In a town full of talented entertainers and musicians, these guys are considered among the very best.

Meet the band....

The heartbeat of The Buzzcatz, drummer Randy Nichols talents also include piano, vocals, arranging, producing, and engineering. You'll hear Randy's voice and his productions all over TV & radio and on countless recorded shows at Orlando's most popular theme parks, dinner theaters, and tourist attractions. Randy is a Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jags fan, and he wrote the touchdown theme song for the Tampa Bay Bucs! (You know.. "HEY, HEY, Tampa Bay"). Randy has backed Ricky on drums since 1993. Together they formed The Buzzcatz in 1999.

"The incomparable" Bobby Koelble is a guitar wizard! He's been a Buzzcat since 1999. When not performing in a tuxedo with The Buzzcatz, you can see him rocking out in sold out arenas all over the world with the legendary Heavy Metal band DEATH, a gig he's had since the mid-90's. A graduate of Berklee College Of Music in Boston, Bobby is a professor of music at Rollins College and UCF. Check out his original bands Junkie Rush and The Absinthe Trio, playing around Orlando regularly. If you are a fan of the guitar, you will really enjoy Bobby!

Pastor Steve Sienkiewicz (Sink-a-wits) has been a Buzzcat since 2003. His long career as a keyboardist reads like a who's who in Oldies acts, and there aren't too many styles this seasoned pro hasn't mastered. He is our resident pastor and spirtual counselor, and he leads mission trips worldwide. Steve hails from Northhampton, MA, and he's a die-hard Patriots fan. (We won't hold that against him!). Always quick with a joke or one-liner, Pastor Steve keeps us laughing!

The Buzzcatz horns are a tight unit that have been together since 1998, and include Doug Spoonamore on Sax, Jim Derrick on Trumpet, and Pat Gullotta on Trombone. They make our sound authentic from Sinatra to Motown, Disco, Funk and Jazz. You've also heard them in the parks at Disney, in the house band at BB King's, and even on Don Henley (The Eagles) and Jon Anderson's (Yes) latest albums!

Buzzcatz bass player Louie Vigilante has been working with Ricky and Randy since 1993 except for a hiatus he took to tour the world with The Backstreet Boys, back in their heyday of the late 90's through 2002. You can also catch Louie a couple of nights a week in the house band at the Catch A Rising Star nightclub in Universal's City Walk; and he records with many different acts around FL. Transplanted to FL in 1980 from Rahway, NJ, he is a die hard NY Giants, Yankees, and Knicks fan. Louie puts da FUN in FUNK, and he's bad to the bone on the bass!
